day 6: a song that reminds you of a certain event

yeah.
it's why by secondhand serenade.
well, i know it's a love song, but i definitely DID NOT go through a break-up or anything like that :<
every time i hear this song, i just get really sad 'cos it reminds me of my grandmother's wake.
i was 12 years old then, and my grandmother had just passed away.
and being the kid i was then, i never listened to much songs, and this was one of my 'favourites' in the past.
i never cared about song lyrics in the past too, so the lyrics are totally irrelevant here, i only listened to songs for the tune.
and just before my grandmother departed, this was on my playlist... on repeat.
because of it's really sad piano accompaniment in the background and the super heart-wrenching vocals, my grandmother's passing pricked on my heart often.
one of the nights during the wake i went back home, and fell asleep to this song...
it made me really sad and all.
so now, i try to avoid listening to this song because it makes me so sad everytime i hear it.
i know it's a love song...............
but still it just makes me cry about my grandmother...
it's been almost 3 years since her passing.
time flies.

on a brighter note, seowhwee and seowchien are coming over tomorrow! :)

and the day after me and radiant are going over to hazel's for a ds party!

p.s.: i'm starting to like this 31 days of music challenge thing. it's giving me good stuff to blog about. :') at least my blog has some meaning now.
