HELLO PEOPLE.
TODAY WAS THE HIGHLY AWESOME GAME 2 FOR THE NBA PLAYOFFS!
Again, we have the two great teams - Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers. :)
VS.
First things first, the final score for Game 2 was 94-103, with Boston Celtics clinching the victory.
So now, the series is tied at 1-1.
The next three games will give Boston Celtics an advantage because they are playing at home.
Here's how both teams and their players fared for tonight.
Rajon Rondo was excellent in today's game because he had 19 points in total, 10 assists and 12 rebounds.
He had given his very best in the final quarter, where he stole the ball from Derek Fisher, who was attempting a 3-pointer.
He had an impressive 'turn-and-shoot' tactic which help bring in about 8 to 10 points for the team.
Even though Lakers caught up with Celtics at the end of the 2nd quarter by bringing down Celtics' lead from 14 to 6 because of Kobe Bryant's last-minute 3-point shot, his great tactics and accurate shots revived Celtics in the 4th quarter.
He was great in the offensive play today, and helped Celtics earn their first game win for the Playoffs.
Ray Allen was the superstar of the night.
He has made NBA history by scoring 8 3-pointers in the NBA Playoffs, so in total, he scored 32 points, making him the player of the game.
His outstanding skills have helped boost Celtics' points by a great amount, thus their victory tonight.
Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett have shown an obvious decline in their skills.
The two of them, who are known as the 'star players' for Boston Celtics, probably didn't manage to live up to their reputation for the 2010 Playoffs (Game 1 & 2).
Paul Pierce missed quite a couple of paint points, which used to be a piece of cake for him.
He scored 10 points in total, but the fact that he stayed on court for 40 minutes proves that he wasn't that active during the game, or either that, bad at shooting.
On the other hand, Kevin Garnett only managed 6 points in the entire game while in the game for 20 minutes or so.
However, compared to Paul Pierce, Kevin's point-to-time ratio is higher.
Nonetheless, both of them didn't seem to be at their best yet.
P.S: I couldn't find a picture of him in the Boston attire.
Nate Robinson, Glen Davis and Kendrick Perkins were relatively good tonight despite the fact that the first two are reserves and that Perkins is not very good at free throws.
Nate Robinson was only on the court for 5 minutes or so, he managed one 3-pointer and scored a total of 7 points. Great job.
Glen Davis scored quite a few points as well and showed great defence on the court.
On to the Lakers.
Kobe Bryant was a ferocious player tonight.
He scored 21 points tonight, which was fairly good.
At the last few seconds of the second quarter, Kobe Bryant scored 3-points and that cut down Celtics lead from a 14 to a 6.
In the early half of the second quarter, Kobe did not play.
The Lakers didn't perform as well, but when he came in, he earned 3-points from his last-minute shot.
This proves how much Lakers can do without him.
If not for his foul trouble, he and his team would have scored a lot more points.
Pau Gasol scored 25 points for the Lakers, and gave his very all tonight.
He tried defending against the Celtics hard, but it didn't seem to work.
With 8 rebounds and 3 assists, his play tonight wasn't fantastic, but wasn't that bad either.
Derek Fisher didn't exactly do very well and only scored 6 points in this game despite being on the court for rather long.
While attempting a 3-pointer, Rajon Rondo stole the ball and scored points instead.
He was pretty good in the previous game but not in this one.
Yup, that's all for today folks.
I'm dead tired.
I've got no motivation to do homework.
Oh anyway!
Happy birthday Li Shan! :)
HAHAHAH.
Doesn't that picture make you laugh hahahaha.
XOXO.
