sorry i said in the previous post that you hope i won't be back till o's are over.
so i broke my promise, but i hope this will really be the last time you'll see me here before o's.
because i am just in great delight that prelim 2 is over.
so prelims ended yesterday, but i'm not sure whether i fared well.
it has been an arduous two weeks, and as usual i'm not feeling confident for any subjects.
even my strongest hope for bio seems to have already faded away...
sigh.
ONE MORE FREAKING MONTH LEFT.
headed out yesterday after chemistry paper 1 to hunt for my ideal handover present.
i already had something in mind that was so perfect, but sadly all major retailers of such toys disappointed me greatly.
SUCKS.
had to make do with something cheaper yet still preserve the value and meaning behind my original idea.
oh well.
spreeing at paper market for harp farewell stuff kinda made my day too! :)
had to travel back to school for a rehearsal for the teachers' day performance.
was kinda annoyed by the eleventh-hour notice but ah well, it's a meet-up with a prefects whom i haven't spent quality time with in a long time anyway :)
so yeah we were tryna learn the song but i was super annoyed 'cos of my slowness in learning the song and also 'cos of another reason -_-
hahahaha at least i had my retarded prefects to seek comfort in.
laughed, talked and fooled around like kids during the free time as usual.
i really cherish these memories so much.
today (31 aug) was the actual performance and miraculously i managed to catch the song, tune and lyrics!!!
amazing.
and aces day was rather fun! :)
although half my clique + other 4A3 peeps ponned i'm really proud of myself for doing 1050 skips! :)

popped by the hall when we saw the teachers' skit 'cos it was really hilarious :P
played and laughed the whole time with the same old prefects!!!

honestly there's something about pb that really makes me unusually happy, always.
it's not the mad-type of happy, but the warm-kind of happy.
like that feeling when you know someone will always have your back despite anything that happens.
there's the prefects that i know i can always count on even if we fall.
because there's just this really strong bond that we share that's beyond description.
i don't know how to explain it, but it's just really, really genuine.
you never have to worry about yourself and how you carry yourself towards others because there's just this realness about those prefects i'm close to.
you never have to worry about being judged, and that's what i like so much about spending time with them.
we're real with each other, and honest.
there's no lies or pretense at all, only genuine affection for one another, something like a family.
always there for each other, and being nothing but yourself.
talking about anything under the sun, laughing at our silly selves.
that's true joy.
